Job Description
Pedago LLC (Quantic School of Business and Technology) seeks a Backend DevOps Software Engineer. Will work with our engineering team to build and scale our flagship educational platform. Responsibilities include design, development, operation, and automation of modern infrastructure components that power our next generation university while regularly engaging directly with stakeholders across the organization. Company HQ in Washington DC. This is a full-time remote position. Can work from anywhere within the United States.
Must have Masters or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field plus three (3) years of software engineering experience with responsibility for architecting secure networks, managing, tuning, and optimizing queries for relational databases, Linux system administration, and security best practices using Docker, CI/CD, Ruby on Rails or similar backend web framework, AWS platform (such as EKS, RDS, VPC, IAM).
Hours: Monday Friday 9AM to 5PM; 40 hrs/wk. Salary starting at $133640/year. Position is eligible for Pedago’s standard employee benefits.
