Role Overview

First and foremost, we're looking for someone who wants to take an early-stage company to greatness. As an Executive Director of Account Management, you will be responsible for the overall experience of our live customers, utilization of our products, and value/ROI realization. In addition, you are responsible for upsell, cross sell, and renewal opportunities.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Leverage Janus' consultative selling approach
  • Research and understand each customer’s environment and strategic initiatives to best align Janus' solutions.
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.
  • Own the overall patient experience and responsible CSAT and NPS scores and customer referral sources.
  • Responsible for developing account management plan to maximize value for our customers and to maximize revenue for Janus through upsell / cross sell / and renewal opportunities with agreed upon quarterly and annual targets.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize value for customers while meeting or exceeding upsell/cross sell/renewal targets.
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
  • Partner with Marketing and Product to relay customer feedback relative to our capabilities and messaging.
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly/annual account management initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Forecast and track account metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Collaborate with growth and product teams on planning and executing on the Product Advisory Group to seek feedback from current and potential customers.
  • Responsible for managing customer utilization and value measurement/realization.
  • Actively participate in relevant industry organizations and associations; co-presents on key industry topics with customers.
  • Exhibit an excellent understanding of customer issues and how to apply the appropriate Janus products to convert identified issues into solution opportunities.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills to be able to work with customers and comfortably present to C-level executives.
  • Highly entrepreneurial with previous leadership experience in revenue cycle (i.e., consulting, product/technology, or industry)
  • Inspire and energize project teams under your direction. Mentor and manage teams supporting the account management function.
  • Respond to customer requests for immediate issues while also being able to take on the accountability of driving issue resolution to completion; serve as the point of escalation.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of Healthcare Revenue Cycle work experience in a customer-facing, customer success, consulting, or account management role
  • Self-motivated, persuasive, and proactive team player with innovative ideas to inspire team members and customers
  • Demonstrated success developing client strategy and driving results
  • Comfort leading cross functional teams and creating and delivering executive level presentations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven experience building strong internal and external relationshi
