Job Description
3 month Contract to Hire Must go onsite in Austin Texas
1099 or Corp to Corp
- Implement integrations requested by customers
- Deploy updates and fixes
- Perform root cause analysis for production errors
- Investigate and resolve technical issues
Requirements
• BA/BS degree in CS or equivalent experience
• Develop and integrate best practices to increase the quality and velocity of deployments
• Participate in capacity and performance road map planning for the infrastructure
• Identify opportunities for improving security, scalability, and reliability of the containerized infrastructure
• Partner with development teams to understand their potential challenges and help them choose the best way to architect their systems on Kubernetes
• Work in a team environment and have strong coordination, organization, and communication skills
• Work with public cloud providers and cloud technologies and container orchestrators such as Kubernetes
• Work with hybrid and on premises Kubernetes deployments
• AWS EKS and ECR experience
• Gitlab (CI) expertise
Other Qualifications (desired, role is flexible based on experience)
• Working knowledge of AWS services including Control Tower
• Working knowledge of end-to-end testing tools such as Cypress, Playwright and Selenium
• Terraform, ansible or other management tools for cloud agnostic deployments
• VPN management
• NERC and/or cybersecurity compliance
• Proficiency in Linux
• Proficiency in Python
• Programming languages (Python, Node.JS, PowerShell, Bash, YAML)
• Ability to lead continuous integration and continuous deployment
• Ability to assess and react to changing requirements quickly
• Exceptionally strong technical, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
• Well organized, results oriented self-starter with a sense of urgency
• Ability to work independently without supervision to meet deadlines
