The starting hourly pay for this role is $22.00 per hour, eligible for overtime accordingly. The pay range is subject to the discretion of the Company.
As a Dock Clerk at Veho, you will be responsible for performing tasks within the warehouse that allow us to deliver exceptional service to customers. You will direct interactions with our transportation, launch, customer, and driver support teams. You will demonstrate the ability to be an independent decision-maker who can juggle competing priorities and complex problem-solving.Responsibilities Include:
- Follow Veho best practices and Cardinal Safety Rules when checking in a driver to a dock.
- Ensure trailers are properly secured before allowing team access to load and unload items.
- Compare BOL with physical load and confirm contents match
- Verify incoming and outgoing trailers have a tracker, if required.
- Work with our Logistics Team to ensure trucks are arriving and leaving on time, communicate any delays to the Ground Operations Team.
- Verify that all outgoing loads have an assigned driver for the week.
- Prioritize incoming and outgoing trailers for the DockTeam.
- Ensure all Lift checklists are completed and filed daily
- File and organize all required documentation.
- Check and keep an inventory of incoming supplies.
What You Bring:
- 5 years experience as a dock clerk in other facilities
- Experience with Google Office and Slack preferably
- Customer service skills
- Capacity to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to make decisions and complete tasks with minimal supervision
