Job Description

The Contractor shall provide assistance in the development of projects and services with supporting engineering calculations to include rough sizing of electrical systems, generators, uninterruptible power supplies (UPSs), conduits, conductors, and other electrical components. Maintain DISA’s existing electrical studies (coordination, arch flash amp; labels) using Easy Power software. The proposed support will encompass technical electrical engineering reviews of approximately eight (8) complex multi-discipline designs and the drafting of approximately eight (8) Statements of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS) with supporting cost estimates annually. Electrical engineering services shall include supporting project execution with engineering assistance for technical reviews and providing recommendation / review comments to the Government representative regarding contract status with schedule, and Contractor’s compliance with contracts on an estimated total of twenty-four (24) individual site visits annually and support for retrofitting and re-commissioning activities for an estimated four (4) locations. These services require access to classified information up to the Secret level and access to NIPR in order to review facilities reports and mission partner documentation. Classified information will be provided verbally or through hard copy reports/documentation.

Requirements

Secret Security Clearance eligible.

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an ABET accredited college or university.

5 years of experience in electrical systems for data centers, 2 years of experience commissioning building electrical systems for critical infrastructure, 1 year of experience in electrical engineering studies (e.g. Easy Power or equivalent software program); familiar with building power systems (e.g. UPS, 5KW or larger) and building generators (1MW or larger); background in project management.

Must be proficient with office automation software (i.e. MS Office, AutoCAD); Professional Engineering License preferred.
