Telecom Network Engineer

We are looking for an exceptional Telecom Network Engineer who can conduct network design and work cross functionally on telecommunications network projects.

This person will work with a Senior Engineer and other team members, to build, document, provide design input and manage communication for network projects through their lifecycle. Experience with network design, ArcGIS and AutoCAD preferred.

Requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct needs assessment, research and compile relevant data for use in network designs
• Assist in determining best network solutions
• Mapping, utilizing Visio, ArcGIS and/or AutoCAD
• Price network solutions by working with tools and suppliers
• Conduct analysis for network solutions
• Technical writing and proof reading for engineering reports, RFP submittals and grant applications

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering mechanical preferred
• Experience or strong desire to learn telecom
• Ability to balance multiple assignments simultaneously
• Strong business analysis skills
• Proficient in Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Valid full driver’s license with clean driving record
