We have positions available throughout the City amp; Suburbs! The perfect candidates for these positions will require poise, maturity, some computer knowledge and an undeniable customer service minded presence. You will also have to be able to work two different shifts. This could be: Days/Afternoons, Days/Overnights or Afternoons/Overnights. The shift times will vary based on site location.
Scheduled to be on stand-by two shifts per day, 6 days a week. Promptly responds to dispatch requests for service and deploys to locations within the Chicagoland area. Must have weekend availability for evenings and/or overnight coverages. Some day shifts available but very limited. Those with exceptional customer service skills are strongly encouraged to apply. Must be willing to obtain the Illinois PERC and complete the 20hr unarmed security training, if not already in hand. Having a clean motor vehicle record going back 2 years is also required.

Requirements
- Position Duties and Expectations:
- Scheduled to be on stand-by two shifts per day, 6 days per week.
- Understand and maintain general post instructions for assigned post and shift by being the expert in all facets of the operation.
- Supervise Security Officers, post operations and procedures for assigned shift.
- Reports directly to the Site Supervisor, Security Director for of the site and GSS Management.
- Ensure proper relations are maintained between the client and GSS.
- Provide proper guidance, counseling and mentorship with the Security Officers you are responsible for.
- Coordinate and maintain proper training for all assigned officers under your direction.
- Ensure all logs are being completed to perfection and instruct when necessary for proper adherence.
- Provide a warm and safe work environment by treating security officers with Respect.
- Have the Integrity and extraordinary Decisions Making Skills to make sound decisions in the the absence of other supervision.
- Control and monitor all escalated issues and report them to the respective authorities, the client and GSS.
- Maintain practical knowledge of all additional and emergency post instructions that are called for by the client.
- Maintain access control procedures set by management for all guests and vendors.
- Effectively utilize access control systems, visitor management systems and CCTV systems as required.
- Respond to incidents and document the event with accuracy and diligence.
- Document and report any property damage and special occurrences.
- Possibly conduct foot patrols in all types of weather during your shift, if required, including walking up and down stairs.
- Ability to stand/sit/walk for long periods of time.
- Provide unparalleled Customer Service, Public Relation interactions and have an Impeccable image at all times, in order to exceed our client's expectations.
