Come join the TransWest Hospitality team and oversee our Valet and Parking Operations!

Reporting to the Hospitality Manager, the Valet Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day success of personnel and operational process. They will coordinate, facilitate and report on; operational performance, safety performance and company policy adherence. Additionally, they will lead and execute process improvement initiatives. The Valet Operations Manager will oversee all Valet and Parking Operations. In doing this they will partner with the Client Relations Team, Revenue, People amp; Culture and Finance Team.

The Valet Operations Manager will assist in the development of current service locations and new account rollouts. They will be responsible for ensuring all staff are trained appropriately to support the scaling of operations in all verticals. They will utilize tracking systems and monitor metrics for valet parking operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Coordinate, plan, and execute current and new valet service operations.
  • Monitor valet operation’s data for efficiency; identify issues of poor performance and work with Location Managers as needed for improvement.
  • Facilitate weekly scheduling for Valets and Parking Attendants in partnership with the Location Managers.
  • Responsible for payroll reporting; ensure sign off on hours in timely manner; work closely with the Accounting Manager to ensure proper wage and hour compliance.
  • Facilitate monthly reporting for valet location billing in partnership with the Hospitality Manager and Finance Team.
  • Prepare standard reports weekly, monthly, or as requested and develop tracking systems, KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and other operational data as necessary.
  • Understand, implement, and deliver all requirements that are outlined within the contractual agreements that are in place with our clients, in partnership with the Client Relations Team.
  • Develop and train Location Managers and Valet Leads through coaching, counseling, and field time to better empower and develop front line leaders.
  • Hold regular meetings with your team, both individual and in group settings to reiterate service and safety expectations.
  • Assist in developing training content for Valets, Parking Attendants and Location Managers. As needed, train Valets and Parking Attendants on new and existing locations.
  • Implement and complete other projects, programs, and initiatives that may arise from the operation of assigned locations and events.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Current Washington State Driver’s License or able to obtain a Washington State Driver’s License within 30 days of start date or transfer.
  • Must have an acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Record).
  • Associate Level Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 4+ Years of supervisory or management experience preferred in the Hospitality Industry.
  • Ability to be flexible in schedule to meet operational needs. This may require occasionally working outside of regularly scheduled hours.
  • Must be willing to work in outside environments, which may include inclement weather.
  • Must pass a criminal background check
