The Opportunity
This is an awesome opportunity for someone who wants to put their sports background to work. You will work closely with event organizers, players and our internal team to deliver the highest quality tournaments. If you are looking for an opportunity to combine your passion for sports, preferably tennis, with event management skills, this may be the perfect job for you. What You Will Do
Responsible for in-venue operations during UTR Pro Tennis Tour (PTT) and Junior Pathway (JNP) events including liaison with the tournament director, venue staff, referee, chair umpires, and players.
Interact with organizers for PTT and JNP to ensure compliance with rules and regulations and automate processes.
Coordinate between the UT team and tournament organizers to update daily tasks such as results, order of play, draws, scheduling, etc.
Responsible for the creation of event registration monday.com boards for PTT and JNP events
Back-end management of UTR Pro Tennis Tour entries, withdrawals, fines, etc.
Requirements
Work experience in athletic events in an operational and organizational capacity, with a preference for collegiate tennis ops experience
Experience interacting with other stakeholders in a tournament setting including referees, players, technology, and volunteers
History of draws, scheduling, court bookings, and other items needed for tournament management
Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders like Product Management, Marketing, and experience working with company executives
Excellent time-management skills and attention to detail
A self-starter and an extreme ownership mindset to deliver quality and customer service at all
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and desire to be world-class.
This is a full-time position based in the United States with extensive travel globally, potentially for consecutive weeks. Preference for West Coast time zone hours.
Salary
A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $40,000 to $60,000. The final base salary for this role will take into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic location differential associated with where the position will be filled.
