• Optimize process yield and productivity thru continuous improvement programs.
• Optimize process yield and productivity thru continuous improvement programs
• Develop, maintain, and validate thermal profiles for SMT ovens for new and existing board-level products
• Generate and update work instructions for production processes as required
• Participate in the New Product Development process to evaluate concepts, design, prototype, and test
• Work closely with Electrical and Mechanical Engineering teams to perform Design for Manufacturability and Design for Assembly reviews on new and existing products to IPC and other recognized specifications. These include review and approval of stencil designs to chip manufacturer specifications identifying and lead the implementation of new and enhanced electronic assembly capabilities
• Design and develop fixtures and tooling including selection and coordination with suppliers
• Create, update, and maintain manufacturing documents for pre-production until builds for design verification, design validation, and process validation

Requirements

• Strategic planning skills manufacturing process engineers know how to think ahead and can see the big picture when planning new manufacturing processes. They can identify strategic changes that will have big impacts
  
• Project management experience manufacturing process engineers know how to run a project from start to finish. This often includes working with other teams, which is crucial for manufacturing process engineers
  
• Critical thinking manufacturing process engineers can approach a process while considering it from all angles. They know how to dig deep and understand the implications of what they find
  
• Interpersonal communication skills manufacturing process engineers communicate clearly and efficiently with teammates and management so everyone understands what processes are changing
  
• Bachelor's Degree in engineering
• 5-10 years experience in Manufacturing
• experience with NX CAD (NX 9+) software / CNC Programming.
