Job Description

Ganymede is building AWS for the life sciences, with a mission of improving the world through better medicine. We believe that the highest-leverage approach to speed up science is through better software tools for biotech and pharma.

As an Implementations Director, you’ll be laying the foundation for our client engagements, which span the gamut from setting structured timelines and milestones for implementations to laying out clear roles and responsibilities to coordinate the talents of the technologists and scientists involved in Ganymede integrations. You will:

  • Lead client engagements, focusing on delivering high quality outcomes for complex projects on a timely basis
  • Work closely with the Solutions team and external clients to ensure close alignment between contractual agreements and delivered product
  • Establish clear expectations for all stakeholders and ensuring accountability for project deliverables
  • Guide and mentor for the Implementations Management team you lead
  • Build and document process and methodology improvements to ensure that our project-based efforts are scalable and replicable
  • Develop and maintain relationships at all levels of client organizations, from the working groups to executive sponsors
  • Collaborate with Commercial team members to identify and create new opportunities for client engagement

Our principles

  • Improving lives through better medicine: we’re intensely mission-focused, and are building a highly scalable business to make an impact on society.
  • Kindness: we come from a future where all human beings are treated with dignity, inclusivity, and active empathy, so we apply that to ourselves first in how we hire and treat each other.
  • Transparency: we are one team, and hold that openness is foundational to ensuring fairness, and that our actions tie to our shared mission.
  • Accountability: we believe that trust is the basis for building anything substantial, and stems from our being accountable to ourselves and each other.

Requirements

What we look for

  • At least 5 years of client facing implementation/consulting experience, with a demonstrated track record of successfully running large projects for enterprise clients
  • At least 2 years of experience in project management for enterprise software deployments, with fluency in SaaS product delivery
  • Empathy for software and life sciences development processes; adaptability and agility in understanding complex scientific concepts
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% to client sites based on customer and project requirements
  • BS in life sciences, engineering, or related technical field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Pluses (but not required by any means!)

  • Implementation experience with scientific data management software such as LIMS/ELN/LES or with cloud-based analytical tools
  • Experience developing software on cloud-based platforms or performing scientific analyses

Benefits

  • Significant equity as an early employee
  • Unlimited PTO amp; sick days
  • Excellent health benefits (Medical, Dental amp; Vision), life, and disability insurance

Compensation for this role will range from $180k-240k base salary, along with significant equity as an early stage startup.
