As a Video Editor Intern at space150, you are responsible for assembling, editing, organizing, and post-production of videos of various lengths from various sources on tight deadlines for clients and the agency. You collaborate with more experienced creatives who will guide your work through execution and launch.
- Deploy professional skills to assist the staff editors and producers on a daily basis.
- Setup, prepare and organize new editorial projects for Staff- and Freelance editors.
- Digital ingest, transcoding, log and capture, syncing of media for new and ongoing projects.
- Export, QC and upload approved pieces for rough or final client review.
- Animate basic motion graphics from designs provided by the creative team.
- Assist in cataloging stock assets used in projects for licensing.
- Perform or coordinate other duties, responsibilities and provide assistance as assigned.
- Provide positive and efficient service to/for IT, post-production and general facility needs.
- Ensures quick and efficient delivery of media to and from clients.
- Encourages and supports a friendly, supportive and collaborative creative environment for all team members.
- Help with video productions on set as needed.
Requirements
- 0 - 1 year of editorial experience
- Strong creative portfolio
- Strong work ethic and ability to deliver on a deadline
- Commitments to excellent quality and client experiences
- Self-motivated, energetic, and creative
- Will uphold our space150 values: ownership, attitude, and awareness
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, most importantly Premiere Pro, After Effects, Media Encoder and Photoshop
- Ability to work full-time during core business hours (with flexibility)

Benefits
- Compensation: $20 / hour
- Work week: Monday - Friday; approximately 40 hours per week
