Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Intern interested in Gene Therapy Process Development and Manufacturing. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and problem-solver who will work closely with the team in its mission to discover and validate new drug targets critical to the company’s success.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Cell culture and DNA cloning
  • Routine assays including protein and DNA analytical methods
  • Opportunity to collaborate with experienced Research Associates, Scientists, and other employees

Potential Internship Projects include:

  • Small scale cell culture optimization
  • Novel analytical method development

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Molecular/Cellular Biology, Bioengineering, or related discipline
  • Candidate must be available to work full-time for up to 12 weeks during the summer
  • Possesses a strong motivation and passion for science, as well as a positive attitude and keen attention to detail
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks efficiently, to communicate clearly and effectively, and to build open and collaborative relationships in a fast-paced environment
