We're looking for a Sr. Marketing Designer to join our growing team. As a Sr. Marketing Designer you will bring an exacting visual sensibility to the execution of key marketing benchmarks, developing a consistent, unified visual voice across the marketing function. You’re most likely to be successful in this role if you are a motivated self-starter, can think marketing-first, and apply sound strategy not only to your design work but to the decisions and processes behind it. You will be critical in establishing and maintaining visual standards at MessageGears.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience designing at a tech company, marketing agency supporting a tech company, or closely related experience
  • Necessary production skills:
    • Digital ads (including HTML5)
    • Email marketing templates (including Pardot or similar MAPs)
    • Whitepapers
    • Social media graphics (including motion graphics)
    • Google Slides or PowerPoint templates
    • Website graphics/landing page creation (including WordPress)
    • Conceptual product diagrams and mockups for web, print, and presentations
  • Necessary traits:
    • Creative - must possess an ability to take initiative; take a brief from conceptualization to production
    • Organized - you must be able to balance and prioritize multiple projects and to adjust to shifts in timelines, deadlines, budgets, and project goals
    • Versatile - you should be able to perform simple tasks like designing t-shirts or banner ads but also be strategic and creatively collaborate on bigger decisions involving brand and product marketing design
    • You need to be thoughtful and articulate about big and small design decisions
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well both independently and in a cross-functional fast-paced team environment

Responsibilities
  • Design and produce visual assets for the MessageGears website, marketing campaigns, trade show and events, sales decks, etc.
  • Help define our brand narrative, style, positioning, and value. Help us create, maintain, and evolve our design language and design guidelines for the brand
  • Build consensus around design direction
  • Collaborate with content and demand generation teams to imagine and design creative supporting elements to help tell our story
  • Collaborate with product marketing to define, design and deliver all forms of communication and awareness efforts for new product launches
  • Create and manage global asset libraries for systematic and scalable design
  • Advocate for aesthetic excellence around MessageGears, providing occasional guidance and consultation to teams outside of Marketing
**MessageGears is a hybrid environment if within a 30 mile radius of the Atlanta office. If outside of this radius the position is fully remote.**
