The credentialing specialist will work within our Medial Affairs team to support medical credentialing for all medical specialties employed by VIGILINT. This position is 100% remote and will be required to complete the duties outlined below.
Maintain individual medical personnel credentialing and privileging records and filing systems by collecting, gathering and tracking all pertinent informationManage and organize electronic files Review medical credentialing files on a monthly basis and work with medical personnel to obtain the necessary missing, incomplete and/or expiring itemsPrepare, submit and follow up on all credentialing and re-credentialing applications Make recommendations for credentialing program developmentPrepare enrollment into VIGILINT medical malpractice insurance carrier and complete quarterly review to add/remove personnel Prepare and submit state license applications on behalf of physicians when requested Review, assess, route, answers and monitors follow up action steps on correspondence Gather and analyze information required for administrative reportingServe as Salesforce support in development of fields, reports, and dashboards for VIGILINT Use multiple technical applications including Education databases, Electronic Health Records Systems, Salesforce, information databases, Microsoft products, electronic calendar and emailCross train in all Medical Affairs team dutiesContributes to VIGILINT mission by accomplishing other duties as required.Requirements
- High School degree or equivalent
- Previous experience or technical certification in medical credentialing
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interpret physician state licensing requirements
- High attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other enabling computer software programs.
- Strong sense of urgency and customer service
- Adaptability and flexibility to support the organization’s growth
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- United States citizen
Ability to pass drug screen and comprehensive background check, free of felony convictions
