The Alinea Group seeks a Facilities amp; Warehouse Associate. The ideal candidate has solid experience with the ability to learn about the needs of our locations. The associate will be key in streamlining several facilities and support functions.
The ideal candidate is a practiced problem solver, maintains a calm demeanor under pressure, persists to get the job done, and enjoys coaching and working alongside a large team to improve performance and increase retention.
Responsibilities:
- Complete repairs that relate to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, serviceware and kitchen equipment
- Work collaboratively with specialized trades related to the restaurant
- Assist in weekly and monthly maintenance and warehouse tasks: serviceware inventory per location, replacing water and HVAC filters, cleaning outside spaces
- General upkeep of the restaurant's: Cleaning, painting, organizing storage spaces
- Organize the warehouse and restaurant equipment
- Schedule and communicate with subcontractors to fix issues
- Records transactions of incoming and outgoing materials and supplies
- Prepares orders for delivery to locations
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Self-starter that can work independently, as well as within a group
- Communicate and work alongside a diverse staff regarding the status of projects
- The sense of efficiency and urgency
- Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands.
- Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours.
- Fast paced movements are required to go from one part of the restaurant to another.
- Must be able to move, pull, carry, or lift at least 50 pounds.
- Must be able to bend, climb, lift, reach, push, twist, walk, crouch, and squat.

Compensation:
- Hourly rate based on experience ($25 an hour)
