VIGILINT is looking for an experienced Assistant Facility Security Officer (FSO) who will work under the supervision of the primary FSO to maintain industrial security compliance. Primary responsibilities include:
- Assist in ensuring compliance with the 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and Cognizant Security Agency (CSA) requirements.
- Assist with managing building access to include badging of employees, escorting visitors, consultants, and contractors as needed.
- Conduct and track security training, briefings, and debriefings.
- Process and protect personally identifiable information (PII) and other sensitive information in a professional and discrete manner.
- Process security-related forms, such as visit request letters and courier orders.
- Assure proper marking, safeguarding, and transmission of all classified and COMSEC materials.
- Review clearance paperwork for adequacy before final submission and ensure investigation dates and CE are maintained.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- US Citizen
- Experience with DISS, e-Qip, NISS, and other Industrial Security platforms
- Completed all required training to be a Facility Security Officer
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Active Secret security clearance with the ability to upgrade to Top Secret
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience interfacing with DCSA and other government representatives
- Good time-management skills, ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously
