About Metomic

At Metomic, we help companies protect sensitive data in SaaS applications like Slack, Google Drive and Zendesk.

Our technology connects to SaaS applications, detects the most critical sensitive data risks, and put automated policies in place to ensure these risks don’t happen again in the future.This liberates tech companies to make full use of their favourite SaaS apps whilst Metomic takes care of all the security risks behind the scenes.

After launching our product in April 2021, we now count some of the world’s most innovative companies as customers, such as Zego, Octopus Energy and Crypto.com. Our traction continues to accelerate and we’re backed by some great investors like Connect (investors in CityMapper, Typeform, Marvel), LocalGlobe (Improbable, Figma, Zego) and RFC (Hopin, Clubhouse, On Deck, etc).

The Role

You will be our first Head of Marketing (Demand Gen) hire and will own and design our global marketing strategy including product messaging, campaigns, community, content, digital, PR and branding. This is a key hire on the leadership team and you'll be comfortable building the foundations and then scaling our Marketing operations globally.

What you'll be doing

  • Your central responsibility is to build Metomic's demand generation engines, and your primary objective is to support the growth of the company
  • You are a player and a coach. At first you will be directly responsible for MQL targets and you’ll also have a [superb] content marketing manager in your time. Over time you will grow a team to help you achieve bigger ones.
  • You’ll own a healthy budget set by the CEO and optimize the results within that. Running different experiments and learning from each.
  • Within the first 12 months you’ll build out our marketing team as your demand generation strategy proves itself.
  • Collaborate directly with our Sales and Product teams to identify and target new markets and segments.
  • Measure ROI from marketing initiatives and consistently iterate our approach to deliver inbound leads, demo requests amp; website traffic.

Requirements

  • Successful amp; hands-on track record of demand gen for SaaS, with exceptional results of your successes and failures.
  • Some level of management experience (be it of a small team).
  • Creativity and resourcefulness to build (not only run) demand generation engines.
  • Unafraid of challenging the status quo.

Nice to haves:

    • Experience in the European and US markets
    • Experience in security SaaS products

  • Task Interview (1 hour) This will involve a practical activity.
  • Team Interviews (1-1.5 hours) We also think it’s important you have a chance to meet your potential future teammates to get a broader perspective on life at Metomic.
