MessageGears is seeking a Product Enablement Specialist to support our expanding Product Enablement team. As part of our highly collaborative team working with our Product, Engineering, and Client Success teams, you will work to create training materials and supporting graphic elements that help our customers use our products to achieve their goals. This role is key in maintaining strong relationships with our customers by driving product adoption, retention, and usage and educating our customer base on how to best utilize our offering.
Requirements
- Ability to identify and understand customer needs and envision how customers would use the product.
- Ability to create design assets needed for use in slide decks, one-sheeters, documentation, etc. Design examples are required.
- Ability to develop a strategy for information architecture and documentation infrastructure.
- Ability to learn and understand complex technical concepts, and to explain these concepts clearly and concisely.
- Manage complex documentation and training projects and balance multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to obtain information through research, interviews, and experimentation.
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with other teams including Engineering, Product Management, and Marketing.
- Exceptional organizational skills to allow you to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
- Familiarity with programming languages and APIs.
- Familiarity with customer marketing technologies is preferred.
- Assist the Sr. Director of Product Enablement with the planning, strategy, and execution of training materials, courses, and certifications for multiple personas and use cases including pre-sales, partners, and existing customers.
- Support graphic design needs by supplying diagrams, images, and general imagery needed to aid in communicating complex concepts.
- Work independently to create and revise existing technical and non-technical content in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Communicate highly complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
- Create content for a range of customers, including marketers, engineers, and system administrators.
- Work directly with Client Success Managers, Product, and Engineering teams to create user guides, technical documentation, and release notes.
- Use development and beta versions of products to update existing documentation, build new functionality guides, and report issues.
- Ensure compliance with documentation styles and standards.
