New Business Manager

Based in New York

Hybrid working


Up to $120k + commision

Do you have experience in driving and developing business with new and existing clients within the US digital / performance marketing landscape?

Can you build and nurture strong working relationships?

BeFound is currently working with a leading digital communications agency, on a search for an experienced New Business Development Manager

This is a Full-Time permanent role, based in New York or surrounding areas.

Reporting to the MD, the New Business Development Manager will be a key member of the team and integral in growing the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creation and management of your own pipeline of new business opportunities within our target sectors
  • Qualification through to pitch, negotiation and close
  • Develop strong working relationships with leadership to align on targeted services, strong value propositions, pricing, process and support structure to drive growth
  • Maintains strong working relationships with influencers, i.e., consultants, analysts, marketing team, etc
  • To grow the existing client base by identifying and seizing opportunities organically or through new areas of the existing business relationships
  • Generating leads and efficiently keeping in regular contact with existing prospects
  • Convert conversations to face to face meetings with prospective client decision makers
  • Maximizing networking opportunities
  • Identifying areas for expansion and development
  • Organizational skills, enabling constant forward motion and communication
  • Strong multitasking capabilities, allowing focus on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Working with senior management to create and deploy a local sales strategy

Requirements

  • You have a solid understanding of the US digital / performance marketing landscape
  • You have worked in well recognised agencies in new business roles and have carried commercial responsibility
  • You have developed digital and performance marketing know-how and believe in a world where brand + performance live together
  • You have a forward-facing view of where the market is going and ambitions to develop our offering to match the changing digital landscape
  • You are growth focussed, you are highly ambitious and will do what it takes to make this venture a success
  • Strong sales / business development experience
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and experience in interacting with senior stakeholders
  • The ability to work independently with entrepreneurial spirit
  • Commercially savvy with a strong financial acumen
  • A go-getter with drive, determination and resilience
