Job Description

We are seeking an IT Solution Consultant to join our brand new Consulting Group. The IT Solution Consultant will be responsible for actively sensing customer’s business challenges or pain points, analyzing and identifying the root causes, and providing the solutions including system proposal. The ideal candidate will have experience in consulting and a strong understanding of enterprise IT systems and architecture.

Solution consulting group is based at our regional headquarters in Ridgefield Park, NJ. This is a hybrid role: team works up to 3 days in the office.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate client needs as well as develop requirements and configurations that support business processes and technical needs.
  • Proactively propose new technologies to business units and help them meet their technology needs.
  • Works directly with external or internal clients to identify and resolve operational issues, solve problems, and/or make decisions requiring technical expertise or specialized knowledge.
  • Research industries, market trends, technologies, and companies that will support the work and decision making of the various business units, planning and strategy teams, as well as Ramp;D efforts at the company.
  • Leverage new and existing SDSA solutions to generate sales pipeline and enhance sales opportunities.
  • Meet target revenue and profitability for solution and service sales, including accurate opportunity forecasting.
  • Manage each account to specific targets on strategic/ economic values, including all relevant levels of customer personnel.
  • Manage internal resources (SDS) and external partners (vendors and solutions partners) for successful account-specific project management (success criteria includes on-time, on-budget, on-function/scope).
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and ensure delivery of products and services for assigned accounts.
  • Manage account/project specific issues, risks and quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, business analytics or business management.
  • Ability to travel 25%-30% in the US.
  • 4+ years of experience in Technology Sales.
  • 2+ years of experience in either: Mobile sales, Enterprise IT sales, SaaS Software sales, Managed Services sales.
  • 2+ years of experience in technology fields, with a substantial portion in research, development, strategy, news, trends, partnership development, and/or technology planning.
  • Strong planning, project, and organizational skills.
  • The ability to listen to stakeholders, discover unmet needs, develop a strong rapport with the audience, and be customer-focused.
  • Proven sales track records in enterprise sales with large clients, and/or solution partners.
  • Able to build trusting relationships with customers and solution partners at all levels (CXO, middle managers, working level) based on subject matter expertise and SDS offerings.
  • Experience of managing multiple projects and programs (budget, on-time, quality) and business planning capability.
  • Superior technical expertise of products and services in enterprise technology solutions.
  • Excellent presentation, communications skills and problem-solving skills.
