Exciting Carbon Black App / Bit9 Security Engineer, 9 plus month, contract opportunity.
Requirements
- Experience with Carbon Black Application Control deployments, installation, configuration and administer of application control rules, also known as Carbon Black Bit9 and Carbon Black Protect on Linux platforms.
- Onsite for first month of project, and then Remote support with periodic on-site visits as project progress.
- Experience with working in the Linux file structure and executables is required
- Knowledge Transfer / Training
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Configure, deploy, and manage user accounts, security groups, mailing lists, and application access according to SOPs
- Must be detail oriented, organized, and able to multi-task, with a commitment to complete projects and tasks in a responsive, accurate, and timely manner
- Strong desire to learn and implement new technologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to clearly explain IT concepts to both technical and non-technical users
