Job Description

The Creative Producer works closely with leadership to successfully conceptualize, sell and execute all types of creative projects.

**This position is full-time remote (with option for in person if preferred) but must be local to the Atlanta area and able to come into offices in the north suburbs occasionally when needed.


Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts to translate heritage content into creative projects with appropriate budgets, timelines and partners/resources.
  • Present and pitch ideas, recommendations and content to clients and internal stakeholders in collaboration with leadership and client services team members.
  • Provide creative direction and oversight including advising on user experience and usability for exhibits, interactives, digital platforms, publications, videos, etc.
  • Supervise, train and coach creative team members and help identify and plan for creative resource needs over time.
  • Identify new creative partners when needed and work closely with new or existing creative partners to ensure projects are successful.
  • Collaborate closely with fellow Content amp; Communication team members and other departments to ensure creative projects are successful and on time and on budget.
  • Support project management of creative projects including using our project management software and keeping projects in scope and on deadline.
  • Some travel required.
  • Additional duties, as assigned.
  • Reports to the head of Content amp; Communications.

Requirements

  • Experience in creative services (art direction backgrounds will be considered) or similar role for a creative or PR agency or within a corporate communications or marketing team.
  • Proven track record of pitching new ideas or business successfully including championing new ideas and solutions.
  • Experience leading creative projects in multiple media experience with video and digital platforms is particularly valuable, but also exhibits and publications/print.
  • Strong written and verbal communicator, comfortable in an email-heavy environment with colleagues in many locations.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and experience working in a smaller business for large corporate clients.
  • Ability to lead through influence as well as direct authority.
  • Curiosity, patience, creative problem solving and attention to detail.
  • Experience with history or archives a plus (undergraduate coursework or other experience).
  • Sports fan with general knowledge of multiple sports and sports fan culture a plus.
