Specific roles include:
Strategy amp; Growth - We work to expand worker ownership through multiple channels, including Mamp;A, education and strategic partnerships with anchor institutions. Work alongside our Strategic Partners amp; Corporate Development team to build new funnels for identifying, acquiring and converting businesses.
People Operations - Obran is working to further build out robust people operations that includes recruiting amp; onboarding, performance evaluation systems, learning amp; development programs, tools amp; practices that support our culture, and uniquely to our worker-owned cooperative, democratic governance practices. An intern would help to stand up these structures and assist with developing and implementing software-supported systems that make this work as efficient as possible.
Information Strategy - As Obran has grown, so too has our processes and knowledge management. These resources support our members and our employees in learning about the organization, their employment and prior art related to their specific roles. An intern would help us to map what already exists, identify best practices and strategy for maintaining information and assist us in making knowledge easily accessible to the Obran ecosystem.
Financial Operations - With new subsidiaries growing, its important for Obran to have a clear view of their respective, and collective, financial impacts, as well as new, efficient processes. Work alongside our Money Operations team to dig into subsidiary performance, create stronger reporting and better understand financial capacities at Obran.
Requirements
Obran Cooperative internships are eligible for social impact summer stipends from numerous MBA programs.
