Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this role is critical to the department, as you will be guiding the branding and visual identity of the company. We’re seeking an experienced, visually talented individual. As part of the Marketing team, you will create a wide variety of graphic assets to support our lead gen, sales enablement, content marketing, presentations, and communications vehicles. You will develop new visual concepts within our existing visual framework, work in guiding a brand refresh effort, and ultimately picking up and running with the brand identity to shape and lead its evolution over time.
We’re seeking someone with an innate understanding of visual identity production across several media, with a further understanding of how to tie together multiple look-and-feel vehicles. This is a senior-level position who will work very closely with our senior copywriter role as well as senior-level stakeholders across the company departments.
We have aggressive growth goals for the company within the next few years, so it’s a fantastic time to get in on the ground floor and own the visual identity for the company as we grow.
Key Qualifications
- You innately understand visual identity and the value of cohesiveness spanning a brand
- You have a passion for shaping a brand, and understand the value of how a brand can be a living, breathing thing over time
- You have a passion and respect for how to communicate, visually
- Deadlines don’t scare you
- You’re as comfortable in discussing how to make a marketing asset look amazing as you are in discussions about the marketing impact of the piece
- You’re comfortable in defending a POV, as it pertains to the brand visual identity, look/feel, etc.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in graphic designer roles in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a similar area
- Expert-level abilities with Adobe Suite software
- Proficient and regular user of Figma
- Solid understanding of user experience and content strategy principles
- Proven, effective book of creative work
- Experience with a marketing automation platform
- Great under deadline pressure
- Strong organizational and communication skills
