A Day in the Life:

  • Be the first point of contact for employee questions and employment verification requests. Query Management. Resolve and/or escalate issues to other members of the People team, as appropriate.
  • Serve as the point of contact for benefits, employment-related filings and contracts, and coordination with Near’s PEO partner.
  • Data and systems administration, change processing and reporting.
  • Communicating and coordinating with employees, payroll, IT and other functions.
  • Produce innovative ideas to support HR policy management, employee awareness and ensure compliance.
  • Onboarding administration for new employees, as well as exit processing for departing employees.
  • Recruitment coordination including interview scheduling, offer management, and managing the background check processes.
  • Provide coordination, input, and consistent execution to People Operations practices and programs: performance management, benefits enrollment, learning administration and compensation reviews.

What you bring to the role:

  • 2-3 years of experience in People Operations
  • Knowledge of national, state and local Employee practices
  • Proven record in forging strong working relationships
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, technology and/or a startup is a plus
  • HR certification a plus. A keen interest to develop your understanding and expertise in the field of HR.
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent work experience

Compensation:

  • $65,000 - $80,000 + bonus + RSUs
