Citeline is seeking a Clinical Solutions Consultant to join the Citeline Commercial Team focused on new product development in the clinical trials space. This role will report to the Senior Director, Clinical Solution Consulting and will join a fun group of intelligent and creative problem solvers. At Citeline, selling is a team sport, and the Solution Consulting team plays an integral role to growth. This position is acts as a strategic advisor to Citeline’s clients by evaluating the ability to solve their challenges through existing products/services/data/packages, new packages, or new solutions we are bringing to market. Solution Consultants infuse clinical trial subject matter expertise and solution mastery into our prospects and clients’ evaluation of Citeline. In addition to partnering directly with sales teams to close new business, Solutions Consultants must also build strong relationships with other internal teams, such as product management to relay market feedback or collaborate on new product development ideas and sales enablement to support the execution of broad sales education/training.

Day to day, Solution Consultants primarily drive consultative discussions with clients, leading with a point of view related to enabling better, faster, more equitable clinical trials. A Clinical Solution Consultant must possess clinical trial/pharma Ramp;D expertise and seek to creatively address the business problems expressed by Citeline’s prospective and current clients. Key Responsibilities

  • Research, prepare for, and participate in discovery meetings with prospects/clients in the clinical trials space to understand their needs, priorities, and goals and identify how Citeline’s solutions can support.
  • Prepare for capabilities meetings by identifying buying triggers and use cases. Provide a point of view during a consultative discussion/presentation around strategic clinical trial planning, protocol design/patient population planning, country/site feasibility, patient engagement/recruitment and other important considerations and how Citeline can help clients accelerate and optimize their work in these areas.
  • Present Citeline’s solutions (or potential solutions) through insights, data methodologies, services, and, as needed, technical software demonstrations.
  • Capture voice of client and work cross functionally to enhance Citeline’s understanding of unmet market needs
  • Represent Citeline and meet with clients at select trade shows such as SCOPE Summit, Marcus Evans Evolution Summit, DPHARM, CNS Summit, among others.
  • Support the authoring RFP/RFI responses, engaging other company resources to help as needed, and ensuring that deliverables are completed on time.
  • Support the sales/commercial enablement process by acting as a subject matter expert in internal training settings
  • Participate in thought leadership publications and/or events as a clinical subject matter expert. (optional)
  • And other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; masters preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in the pharma Ramp;D / clinical trials industry
  • Highly skilled communicator and engaging presenter with the drive to seek unique solutions cross functionally
  • Data driven communicator, ability to synthesize ideas and information and propose creative solutions
