The Hartford Golf Club is a private country club located in West Hartford. It is the premier club in the Hartford region offering a rich tradition of sports, fine dining, and family-focused activities. The 30,000 square foot Clubhouse sits on 256 acres of impeccably maintained grounds.

The Club has an extensive selection of world-class facilities for all ages, including a 27 hole golf course, 9 Har Tru tennis courts, 4 international squash courts, 6 outdoor platform tennis courts, 3 pools, 4 lane duckpin bowling alley, and a state of the art fitness facility.

Responsibilities:

• Food preparation and portioning prior to service.
• Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment.
• Cooking and preparing all menu items in accordance standards set by the Executive Chef.
• Stocking and maintaining sufficient levels of food on the line.
• Ability to lift 60 lbs and stand for long periods of time.

Qualifications:

• Understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment.
• Experience in full service upscale restaurant is required.
• Complete working knowledge of Steak Temperatures (Rare, MR, MED, MW, Well done) with high accuracy.
• Must excited for food and learning new recipes.
• Minimum of two years’ experience working in a steak house or three years minimum on grill/meat/broiler stations.
