What You'll Do:

Responsible for the accuracy and execution of all employee data and everyday Human Resources’ (HR) operations with a focus on benefits and payroll administration. This is a fast-paced, high exposure, hands-on role to support and scale the Single Digits’ team.

Job Duties/ Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process bi-weekly, multi-state, domestic and international payroll.
  • Process new hires, separations, and all employee changes.
  • Provide support and guidance to maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment and tax laws and regulations.
  • Review monthly benefits invoices for accuracy.
  • Administrate all employee benefit plans and systems.
  • Daily point of contact for employees related to payroll and benefits.
  • Handle HR compliance items, such as 401k audit, 401k testing, payroll and tax.
  • Provide frequent HR Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Assist with HR projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Be creative and find new ways to be more efficient and streamline processes.
  • Strengthen and improve employee experience programs.
  • Manage employee inquiries and respond to all questions regarding benefits, systems, company programs, and policies.

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills have been acquired.

Experience:

  • 2-4 years of experience working in a busy HR department.
  • Payroll and benefits experience is a plus.

Knowledge:

  • Proficiency with MS Office.
  • Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and HRIS is preferred, Paylocity experience is a plus.

  • Must place a strong focus on customer service and act with a high level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
  • Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to deliver messages with composure and tact.
  • Must be a motivated self-starter who can proactively research and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully interface with all members of the team and build successful, long-term relationships with all members of the organization.
  • Must be able to support, consult, and influence a wide range of personnel.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and tasks while remaining professional.
