Ready Set Care: Full Stack Developer

Job Description
Junior to mid-level (0-5 years experience, ish) full stack developer with primary strength in the frontend, supported by reasonable experience building and using backend APIs someone who takes pride in building great responsive mobile apps, and can roll up their sleeves as needed on the backend (and hopefully on native builds, too).
We are looking for a professional history that demonstrates:
- Experience as a lead developer on at least one mobile application, i.e. a highly interactive, responsive product
- Very strong working familiarity with at least one JS framework, preferably vuejs (but open to others)
- Strong working facility with CSS and HTML
- Thoughtful structuring of frontend code for reuse and readability
- Configuration and use of git-based CI/CD flows, including implementing appropriate levels of test coverage
- Delivery of high fidelity, fully responsive implementations of design specs
- Ability to work interactively with designers on very short iteration cycles, including understanding design/product intent and surfacing technical options to help enhance its achievement
- Evidence of high horsepower, curiosity, and rapid learning
Other experience that would be great, professionally or via side or student projects:
- Native iOS or Android app development
- Python experience, particularly Flask app development
- SQL databases (ideally PostgreSQL)
- Wrangling large data sets
- Deployment on AWS
A technical undergraduate degree from a leading institution is preferred but not required.
We don’t necessarily expect someone to have all of these, but we do seek someone who is a great match for at least several. At the same time, this isn’t meant to be exhaustive, and you’ll almost certainly have relevant skills that we’ve omitted.

Compensation will be competitive based on the successful candidate’s experience and will include salary and equity. While we would prefer a full-time hire, we will also consider contract or contract-to-hire situations. In the case of contract work, we will consider remote work.
For New York City roles:
The base salary range for this role is $99,000 - $118,000 per year and is based on experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a competitive benefits package.
