DroneUp is seeking a Sr. Manager, Delivery Development who will support the development of delivery services and partnership growth. As we continue to grow our delivery services, you will seek new food service and retail partners, negotiate pricing, implement promotions, develop packaging and menu offerings, and assist with onboarding. The ideal candidate will be exceptional at planning, keeping organized timelines, and hitting target milestones.
Responsibilities
- Drive new business relationships, including prospecting new partners and growing relationships with existing portfolio of partners
- Coordinate cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to develop the right delivery solutions and capabilities
- Develop pitch decks and business models that support various restaurant and retail partners
- Manage end-to-end deal process, including negotiations and contract execution
- Build and grow pipeline in CRM
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, MBA preferred
- 3 years’ experience in a management role at a delivery service company or 5 years’ experience in a management position at a national restaurant group
- Knowledge of food services industry from third-party delivery side or major QSR group
- Highly skilled presenter, including presentation development and live presentations
- Solid excel skill set for sales planning, modeling, and reporting
- Strong understanding of tech requirements for platform/order integrations
- Strong understanding of and experienced in end-to-end sales process
- Must be based in Dallas, TX
- Able to travel (required, approximately 15%)
