Classroom Executives (Teacher)

Hours: Varies 7:30am-5:30pm (Shifts are in between time frame that is listed)

Pay: $ 15.00-27.00/hour (Pay is based off experience)

Assistant Classroom Executives work in the infant/toddler classroom. The Assistant Classroom Executives are responsible for care related to the safety, health and hygiene of the children in the Center. It is expected that classroom executives will be active members of the Center contributing to staff meetings, attending parent meetings, staying current in the field of early childhood education, and continuously tending their own professional growth.

• Background check (fingerprint)
• TB Test
• Required to be vaccinated for Covid. Required to provide proof of vaccination.
• Family Care Safety Registry Check
• DCFS Background Check
• AA, CDA or a combination of education and experience equivalent to a degree in early childhood education required.
• Must be at least 18 years old and a high school graduate or equivalent
• Knowledge of behavior management and Developmentally Appropriate Practices
• Specific knowledge or experience working with infants/toddlers or preschool children, depending on the classroom
