Job Description

The Senior Vice President, Media amp; Analytics is a media expert, possessing a broad set of media, marketing and management skills. You’ll be a trusted media advisor to client and space150 executives. You’ll take ownership and direct responsibility for the overall performance, growth and quality of space150’s media efforts. You’ll be responsible for developing and optimizing a vision and strategy for media that aligns with space150’s mission to destroy convention to create demand while delivering a competitive advantage and tangible business results to clients.

Requirements

  • Owns space150 media vision and strategy along with optimization and measurement of media process
  • Delivers a competitive advantage to space150 client’s through optimized and strategic media spend and strategies.
  • Secure trust from all clients through increased quality of our work (strategies, deliverables, storytelling) Exhibits modern media thinking and strategies that work in concert with space150’s innovative creative brand and campaign ideas
  • Establish a framework for quality assurance of media placements, budget management and deliverables
  • Develops a vision for a unique analytics offering from space150 - and, executes against that vision
  • Examines space150 as a whole and creates solutions and recommendations that work towards a singular vision for how space150 maps ideas into channels
  • Advises senior clients on modern media approaches and strategies
  • Delivers compelling and effective media strategies and plans to new business prospects, including an outbound media new business strategy.
  • Mentors space150 media team providing clear goals and an environment where the teams’ performance thrives
  • Builds strategic alliances both internally and externally to maximize the value of client investments
  • Has knowledge of intersection of social, digital and traditional media channels and desired channel outcomes
  • Partners with the account service team to ensure media initiatives are estimated, scoped and managed correctly
  • Provides guidance on engagement and participation in evolving media channels, identifying and evaluating new opportunities on the client’s behalf
  • Understands how to translate brand marketing objectives into succinct digital media strategies
  • Consults on digital strategies including driving the research direction and insights for the development of digital campaigns based on an advanced understanding of the digital markets
  • Represents the media team to space150 and client executives
  • Manages both results and behaviors of media team members by setting and communicating clear job expectations
  • Provides clear, timely, meaningful feedback to the media leads
  • Motivates and leads the media teams with a focus on continuously improving individual performance as it relates to delivering against client goals
  • Determines training programs for the media team (working with the managers of the departments to carry out these programs)
  • Ensures effective staff communications. Promotes and models effective communication through a variety of tools, e.g., staff meetings, emails, and informal discussions

Qualifications include:

  • Undergraduate degree required with at least 10 years of experience in the field
  • Past experience that demonstrates expert business knowledge and a past record of strategic and tactical business success
  • Exposure to cross-discipline campaign work
  • Deep understanding and experience within paid media and analytics
  • Mastery of space150 values: Attitude, Ownership amp; Awareness
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to analyze all possible options in a fast and efficient manner
  • Ability to produce high quality documents that are precise and accurate
  • Extensive experience planning and accomplishing goals
