Job Description

The Talent Acquisition Assistant is responsible for supporting LegalMatch’s Recruiting business needs by processing applicants, as well as sourcing, screening, interviewing and referring eligible candidates to hiring managers across all of the US Sites. The Talent Acquisition Assistant reports directly to the Global Talent Acquisition Manager.

This Team Member will assist in maintaining the applicant tracking system, effectively communicate to executive leadership, thoroughly screen to identify top performers and culture fit for our organization, and ensure a positive experience throughout the recruitment and onboarding process. Requirements

  • Review all candidate applications, conduct phone screenings, set interviews for hiring managers, and extend employment offers as needed.
  • Maintain applicant workflow status in the applicant tracking system.
  • Work in close partnership with all Talent Acquisition Team Members and Leadership to be a credible resource for our applicants, internal Team Members and Leadership.
  • Sourcing of Candidates through various online platforms
  • Proactive approach to identify opportunities and assess improvements to the applicant and hiring experience
  • Ensure all inquiries are answered and/or properly routed in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate files throughout the recruiting and onboarding process; in electronic and paper form.
  • Support any other special projects as needed.


  • 2 years’ experience in Talent Acquisition, preferably as a Recruiter/Talent Acquisition Assistant
  • Excellent reporting skills to provide accurate and timely recruitment metrics
  • Maintains a high degree of professionalism - can interact with all levels of the organization as a point of contact for team.
  • Strong ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maturity.
  • Knowledge of and ability to ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws/regulations and company policies.
  • Proven planning and organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Can multi-task and work in a fast-paced energetic environment.
  • Ability to prioritize, adjusting as needed throughout the day
  • Desire to work as part of the team with a results-driven approach.
  • Proven track record of exceptional customer service skills.
