Job Description
Aspen Capital is in search of a Business Intelligence Manager to lead a team of Business Intelligence Engineers, Business Intelligence Analysts, and Report Developers to define and build key metrics for technical and non-technical business units.
Provide vision, direction, and day-to-day management for the team.
Monitor existing metrics, analyze data, and partner with internal teams to identify process and system improvement opportunities.
Lead development and implementation of scalable, data-driven solutions for widely ranging stakeholders such as Product Development, Technical Engineering, Deployment and Finance.
Manage challenges associated with investigating and understanding large data sets and build predictive models based on the data.
Work with product managers and engineering teams to define and prioritize data science and analytics projects.
Partner with the leadership team to identify high-impact opportunities that leverage extensive data to better serve customers.
Help identify quality sources of data and emerging tools, vendors, and systems in order to improve existing architecture and processes.
Establish a repeatable process and structure to scale the business
Requirements
Must have at least five years of experience in the following skill(s):
- Hands-on experience in data mining or quantitative analysis;
- experience with analytics tools such as Python, or SAS;
- experience with relational databases (SQL);
- designing, developing and implementing large enterprise reporting platforms;
- building complex reports using enterprise reporting tools; and data modeling Snowflake or Star Schema.
- Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Experience in consumer lending business is strongly preferred. Domestic travel required up to 25%.
