We are looking for an experienced fund sales and investor relations manager to help with our efforts to sell our fund products - which will initially is a real estate debt income fund (the Faes amp; Co Income Fund). The target market for the fund is accredited investors, family offices, and Registered Investment Advisors in the US (with a Cayman based feeder fund for offshore investors). The fund leverages off our extensive experience in the real estate lending space, and provides investors with a consistent superior risk adjusted return.
You will be involved in all matters relating to the promotion of the fund, including:
- Working with our team to build a comprehensive marketing strategy around the promotion of our fund, including the design and drafting of presentations, promotional materials and campaigns
- Coordinating direct outreach to prospective target investors
- Building relationships with prospective investors, taking the time to cultivate a good working relationship and trust with our investors
- Remaining up to speed with the competitive landscape, with key developments and market information relating to our target investor community
- Updating and maintaining our in-house CRM system, and ensuring that there is an organised sales pipeline
- Organising, scheduling, and presenting the investment product to prospective investors (with senior management as appropriate, and in some instances presenting on your own)
Requirements
You will have:
- a willingness to work hard and a ‘can do’ attitude
- the ability to build relationships, and have strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- a working knowledge of the Registered Investment Advisor landscape in the US
- an understanding of the level of professionalism that ‘accredited investors’ and family office investors expect
- at least 3 years+ experience working in financial services
- the ability to work autonomously, and to prioritise tasks accordingly
- a willingness to ‘get involved’ with the business and provide help and assistance as required
- experience using the latest cloud based business efficiency platforms such as Google Business Apps, Notion, and Slack etc
The ideal candidate will also have:
- experience with selling real estate debt fund(s) to accredited investors
- a working understanding of the real estate ‘fix and flip’ lending market
- the American Association of Private Lenders, Fund Manager accreditation
- existing relationships with a portfolio of accredited investors or family office investors
