605 is an independent TV measurement and analytics firm that offers advertising and content measurement, full-funnel attribution, media planning, optimization and analytical solutions. We are searching for a Senior Director of Sales with a proven track record in supporting and driving sales initiatives and revenue goals. This role is responsible for developing relationships across customer verticals and a broad range of clients including MVPDs, programmers, agencies and brands. The Senior Director of Sales must possess superior communication skills with an aptitude for navigating through complex technical solutions-based sales. This role will be fully empowered by senior management to drive aggressive growth and have the full support of key functions across the company including solutions, product, marketing and sales operations.

As a Senior Director of Sales, this role is at the forefront of telling 605’s next-generation TV analytics, planning, measurement, attribution and data activation story to TV Programmers, MVPDs, Brands and Agencies. Armed with the largest household matchable US linear TV viewership source and best-of-breed products, unique technology and high performance client services team, this is a fantastic opportunity to go to market with a fast growing organization. This person will be responsible for fully understanding client needs and helping them solve for strategic and tactical opportunities and challenges.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Prospect for new business opportunities
  • Drive all aspects and stages of the sale including; qualifying the viability of potential sales, delivering winning presentations and proposals and managing the sales process through to its close
  • Meet/exceed monthly KPI quotas on a consistent basis
  • Research prospects to get an understanding of their business needs and how 605 will address their objectives and deliver value
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Accurately forecast sales activity, opportunities and revenue through well-structured pipeline management process and discipline
  • Articulate client needs to internal groups
  • Occasional travel required

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of sales experience in the ad tech and/or data vertical of the media/advertising industry
  • Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue goals
  • Experienced in advanced advertising, especially in cross-platform and addressable advertising
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong knowledge of the advertising and agency eco-system (buy and sell-side) preferred
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiating skills
  • Smart, passionate contributor with a tireless work ethic and endless determination to close business and exceed client expectations before, during and after the sale

Preferred Experience

  • Experience as a programmer, planner or Sales Service Executive is preferred

Candidates who meet the qualifications of this role can expect to earn an annual salary of $150,000 to 200,000.
