About the Role:
An exciting and challenging position exists as a Director of Supply and Demand Planning. You will be responsible for providing leadership, training and support to ensure a best-in-class Samp;OP process is in place and functioning well. This would include successfully aligning key stakeholders, including the ELT, with clear demand signals as well as supply constraints. You will also be accountable for developing best in class processes for demand and supply planning ultimately leading each brand to improved forecast accuracy and maintaining the ideal amount of inventory on hand.

As an inspiring, pro-active leader, you will challenge the status quo and motivate the team to ensure projects are successfully executed and delivered on time and within budget. Your planning expertise will promote continuous improvement as you bring thought leadership and best practices to the Wellmore team.

Location/Workplace: This is a hybrid position and candidates must be willing and able to work out of the Denver office 2-3 days/week.

What You’ll Do:

  • Responsible for the development of organizational strategy and technology strategy to ensure continuous improvement and growth in capability and performance in all aspects of supply and demand management.
  • Continuous improvement for best-in-class Samp;OP process; including providing leadership during Samp;OP meetings with key internal customers, creating cross-functional alignment on key business issues
  • Ensure successful integration of supply and demand planning across all brands including identifying a more formal and advanced planning tool;
  • Conducts knowledge sharing, benchmarking current amp; future industry trends with peer companies and other external research companies to ensure processes are best in class.
  • Develop the supply and demand planning strategy and adjust to meet changing business needs.
  • Maintain close working relationships with Wellmore business leadership and commercial units to assess their present and future growth plans, go-to-market plans, customer strategies, and emerging industry trends.
  • Accountable to ensure each brand is managing inventory targets based on forecasts.
  • Coach, mentor, and support supply and demand planning teams. Provide direct leadership and ensure a continuous mindset.


Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, Mathematics, Supply Chain, or related field of study. MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years of supply chain experience with a good understanding of the end-to-end processes
  • 5+ years of CPG industry experience
  • Experience in statistical forecasting and Demand Planning
  • Experience with ERP packages and other relevant IT systems with focus on planning and forecasting
  • Strong partnering and understanding of planning support needs of the enterprise and sector
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong communication amp; influencing skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage large projects, process improvement initiatives and cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have:

  • Six Sigma certification
  • Experience in a manufacturing food industry
