BI (Business Intelligence) Engineer / Analyst

Job Description
RumbleOn, the nation's largest retailer of powersports vehicles, and first omnichannel customer experience in powersports, is rapidly expanding our Financial Planning and Analysis team at headquarters in Irving, TX. Specifically, we are seeking an all-star Data Analyst/BI Developer with experience creating Power BI models for retail operations, including data mining and cleansing experience. Someone who wants to create processes and drive innovations from the ground up!
Successful candidates should be able to work collaboratively with various finance, business and tech partners, be comfortable in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, influence the decisions of business and financial leadership through good verbal and written communication, and have high standards for accuracy, logical reasoning skills, and strategic thinking.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with interdepartmental teams and key stakeholders to define business reporting needs, set realistic timelines, and regularly communicate progress against targets.
- Develop Power BI reporting that effectively displays key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Build models using SQL to transform data and provide support for deep analytics.
- Maintain reporting accuracy as business priorities changes.
- Identify and correct data integrity issues through data mining and data cleansing.
- Gather and communicate fact-based insights to senior business and financial leadership.
- Management of master data tables and data modeling
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 3-5 years' experience in Data Analytics, Data Modeling, BI Development or a related analytical role
- 3-5 years’ using Power BI for data visualizations a must
- 3+ years’ coding in SQL (syntaxes: SQL Sever, Redshift, Teradata, etc.)
- Experience modeling retail operations data
- Experience with data cleansing and data mining
- BA/BS in Business, Economics, Data Science or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science) or equivalent.
- Ability to work independently and self-motivate in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment with competing deadlines
- Advanced Excel skills and a demonstrated ability to build models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem solving
- Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills in the English language
- Ability to work on-site at headquarters in Irving, TX
DESIRED SKILLS-
- Tableau experience
- Experience working with DBT and Panoply
- Experience with Project Management methodology and ticket writing
