Job Description

Our company is looking to hire a People amp; Development Coordinator to perform various HR and administrative duties. Your responsibilities will include keeping track of employees' records and supporting the hiring process. In this role, you will support and partner directly with the Talent Recruitment Manager. The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of Human Resources along with general administrative responsibilities. By working autonomously and efficiently, they will ensure the smooth running of HR projects and operations. In order to succeed in this role, you should have experience using HR software and tools. Ultimately, you should be able to contribute to the attainment of specific goals and results for the organization. If you have an HR background, basic knowledge of labor legislation, and a flair for interacting with people, we’d like to meet you!

Responsibilities
  • Support Talent Recruitment Manager and provide daily administrative and onboarding support
  • Liaise with various partners and specialists in the areas of Learning amp; Development, Diversity amp; Inclusion, Recruiting, and Systems that support data integrity and file organization
  • Attend weekly orientations, properly onboard new hires follow predetermined procedures to maintain consistent candidate experiences
  • Maintain records of personnel-related data (payroll, personal information, leaves, turnover rates, etc.) in both paper and the database and ensure all employment requirements are met
  • Support the recruitment/hiring process by sourcing candidates, performing background checks, assisting in shortlisting, issuing employment contracts, etc. Responds to routine HR questions and staff requests, including but not limited to employee benefits questions, assist with the resolution of problems regarding access to or payment of benefits, assist employees with paperwork related to filing medical claims, employment verifications, etc.
  • Establish trust and reliability with employees and partners
  • Manage and oversee recruiting of onsite roles, including job postings, prescreens applicants, interviews, and onboarding of new hires
  • Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events, etc., and maintain the team’s agenda
  • Implement, monitor, adhere to, and enforce compliance with all Company policies, procedures, and standards and local, state, and federal law as applicable
  • Champion health and safety policies (i.e., worker’s comp procedures, allergy procedures, harassment, etc.)
  • Resolve staff issues or concerns
  • Support other functions as assigned

Requirements

  • Proven experience of 1-2 years as an HR coordinator or relevant human resources/administrative position
  • Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices
  • Knowledge of labor legislation
  • Expertise across a variety of HR disciplines, e.g. organizational development, leadership and talent development, HR process design, compensation management, HR administration, and diversity and inclusion
  • Strong ability in using MS Office (MS Excel and MS Powerpoint, in particular)
  • Experience with HR databases and HRIS systems (e.g. ADP)
  • Ability to work with ATS software (Workable)
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle data with confidentiality
  • BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; additional education in Human Resource Management will be a plus
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
  • Experience using professional social networks (LinkedIn Recruiter)
