Job Description
Overall objective of this role is to support both the individual and collective sales and business development efforts of Bollore Logistics USA and the Bollore Logistics USA global network in the areas of strategic pricing. This role will facilitate growth, new business development and maximize profitability for Bollore Logistics USA.
Directs and coordinates USA centralized pricing activities on a national level and manages the organization, workflow, results, and day to day functions of the USA Pricing department to obtain and provide optimum rates and pricing on behalf of Bollore Logistics USA. Instrumental in participation to secure new business and maximize company profits by performing the following duties personally or indirectly through the actions of his / her direct report
Requirements
- BA degree or equivalent preferred; four to ten years of industry-related experience and/or training.
- Prior experience in a similar role including solid exposure to managing pricing processes, implementing pricing initiatives, and creating a pricing process documentation.
- Possess a strong understanding of pricing strategies and concepts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical skills, comfortable dealing with numerical data, and strong attention to detail.
- Directly supervises 3-5 employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Analytics, pricing strategy, and strategic pricing.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
