Responsible for managing Mannahouse Christian Academy Preschool on campus.

Requirements
Possesses knowledge of child development as evidenced by professional reference, education, experience, and on-the job performance; At least one year of training and/or experience in management and supervision of adults; Previous experience working in an early childhood environment; Familiar with and must meet qualifications as described by Rules for the Certification of Child Care Division (section 414-300-0080, 414-300-0120); Possesses good communication skills; Ability to relate positively with staff, parents, and children; Ability to establish a pleasant work environment in the classroom setting; Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; Ability to support teachers with scheduling, curriculum implementation, and classroom behavior; Possesses strong organizational, administrative, and time management skills; Ability to work effectively in a high-energy environment; Must be a member in good standing of Mannahouse, including consistent attendance, ministry participation, and tithing.
Responsibilities
- Familiar with all procedures for MCA. Attends staff training and other staff events.
- Develops policies and procedures in accordance with state certifications and requirements, and MCA and Mannahouse policies.
- Manages Preschool staff including: hiring staff, scheduling, maintaining child staff ratios, staff relationships, staff trainings, and managing daily operations at Preschool location.
- Works with Business Development Director and all Preschool Head Teachers to make sure all the appropriate forms are turned in and registration is complete.
- Responsible for accuracy and consistency of student records, progress reports, registration information, and learning objectives.
- Manages inventory and budget for Preschool program according to MCA, DCS, and USDA requirements.
- Communicates to parents and school through various outlets on a periodic and consistent basis.
- Maintains activities and curriculum scope and sequence.
- Maintains a tasteful Preschool environment. Makes sure janitorial needs and maintenance requests are communicated to appropriate staff.
- Performs any other tasks as needed.
