Provides oversight of the college mission, operations and expansion; functions as the primary caretaker of the college’s vision, values, culture and processes; bears primary responsibility for the college’s alignment with Mannahouse as one of its ministry centers; represents/champions the college to outside agencies, organizations, churches, alumni, marketplace and donors; leads the ongoing development of the college’s effectiveness, advancement and innovation; performs a variety of routine and special administration duties; provides oversight of PBC Lead Team; does related work as needed.

Requirements
Master’s Degree or equivalent, as well as formal theological training; PBC degree preferred; Previous college teaching, administration and pastoral experience required; Previous experience or training on Mannahouse/PBC education philosophy is essential; Previous experience in institutional advancement including fundraising, donor relations preferred; Thorough knowledge of PBC mission, history ministry philosophy, and processes; Good knowledge of, and the ability to impart Scripture, theology, and ministry skills; Ability to work with, motivate, and relate positively to college staff, students, and Mannahouse Teams; Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing; Good public relations skills; Must be a member in good standing of Mannahouse, including consistent attendance, ministry participation, and tithing.
Responsibilities
- Oversees the fulfillment of the college’s mission.
- Oversees the operation of the college in regard to staying true to its vision and values.
- Oversees the expansion of the college working with the VP of Advancement.
- Oversees college staffing decisions made in conjunction with the senior pastor/chancellor and the PBC lead team.
- Oversees relationships with Government agencies.
- Represents the college in external relationships including forging new partnerships, donor bases, and friends of the college’s mission.
- Oversees processes that contribute to the health and growth of the PBC staff.
- Oversees the PBC budget to ensure fiscal soundness.
- Oversees all disciplinary/legal matters.
- Provides leadership to all education initiatives including, but not limited to, campus programs, online programs, affiliate programs, partnership programs, PBC Access initiatives, etc.
- Provides innovative and strategic leadership to new educational initiatives and products to support and grow the college’s educational mission and objectives.
- Oversees developing new audiences and partners that use the PBC curriculum and programs for discipleship and leadership pipelines of churches, marketplace and organizations.
- Oversees regular meetings with the PBC Lead Team.
- Attends regular meetings with the Senior Pastor/Chancellor and VLT; serves as member on VLT.
- Assists in Fundraising Efforts.
- Oversees and cultivates Culture of College.
- Works closely with all Ministry Centers programs and initiatives.
- Other duties as required.
