Provides specific academic, moral, and spiritual instruction to college students as prescribed in PBC curriculum. Equips students with Biblical values for life directives. Supports general development of personal, social, and communication skills in students; including ministry development. Provides pastoral care for students. Performs a variety of routine and special teaching duties. Participates in the development of PBC programs, curriculum and policies. Does related work as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Theology required; Master’s degree or equivalent preferred; Formal training and experience in Christian education preferred; Previous responsible college teaching experience required; General knowledge and use of instruction and communication equipment required; Expert knowledge of Scripture required; Ability to work with, motivate, and relate positively to college students required; Ability to research and analyze theological, Biblical, and other issues required; Ability to develop curriculum, course assignments, and exams required; Proficient in the appropriate range of teaching methods; Ability to accurately evaluate student learning and progress required; Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing required; Ability to utilize Learning Management Systems for course work, grading, discussion forums, etc; Must be able to impart Mannahouse Church vision and values; Must be a member in good standing of Mannahouse, including consistent attendance, ministry participation, and tithing.
