About the Role:
The Project Manager is part of inMusic Development and reports directly to the Director of Product Development for ION Audio. The Project Manager is responsible for schedule management throughout the life cycle of a project. This person will ensure that all project members are well informed of the project details and status by communicating effectively across both internal and external teams to ensure projects and products are delivered on time.
What our Project Managers Do:- Assist the Product Team in developing and adjusting project plans
- Understand product specifications to assist in the coordination of project action plans, activities, resources, testing, equipment, and information
- Monitor all project plans by communicating with global cross-functional teams and manufacturers to ensure all deliverables are met
- Assist in administrative duties such as updating documentation, presentations, and online reporting functions
Requirements
- Excel, Word, and Outlook knowledge to effectively perform project management tasks
- Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks/projects at the same time
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven working experience as a project manager
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience working in the MI industry preferred
- Experience working with contract manufacturers preferred
- Understanding of consumer audio products is a plus
