As a Salesforce Solution Consultant (Remote), you will be part of our project teams and be accountable for understanding the overall solution design, responsible for understanding use cases and requirements, responsible for building out the declarative aspects of the solution, accountable for writing technical tickets and authoring supporting documentation. Expect to work closely with various technical and non- technical team members, across complex, enterprise and strategic projects.

Responsibilities

Our client is looking for Solution Consultants with various degrees of experience at this time. Outlined below are the responsibilities and qualifications that are typically expected of the Solution Consultants. The actual responsibilities and qualifications may vary slightly based on the experience and the level at which a candidate may get hired.

  • Design and manage the implementation of Salesforce solutions that meet business requirements for small to midsize projects
  • Create build tickets for implementation detailing the technical requirements to meet the user story acceptance criteria
  • Lead client sessions to gather, define, and document business requirements, where needed
  • Refine implementation estimates and plans for phases of the delivery lifecycle, including development, testing, training, communication, deployment, and post-production support Document requirements in the form of user stories
  • Demonstrate solution functionality to business stakeholders as needed
  • Assist in end-user acceptance testing by developing the test cases and the acceptance criteria
  • Lead knowledge sharing sessions with the client and provide the user documentation required for supporting the system in the future
  • Present solution options to customer, evaluating the pros and cons of declarative configuration against code and customization
  • Perform impact analysis for scope change requests, document changes to requirements, configuration, and data mapping
  • Participate in declarative system configuration when necessary
  • Provide technical and functional expertise to project teams
  • Participate in training content development and Administrator and end-user training delivery
  • Complete Trailheads and Salesforce Certification on the following within 12 months of joining:
  • Sales Cloud
  • Service Cloud
  • Field Service
  • Experience Cloud
  • Industry Cloud
  • OmniStudio Consultant

Requirements

  • Must have Salesforce experience.
  • Must have at least two Salesforce.com Certifications (Admin, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, App Builder, Platform developer 1, etc.)
  • Business Analyst experience in multiple industries, with a proven ability to deliver on strategic and tactical business objectives
  • Business Analysis - Experience leading requirements gathering sessions and documenting the outcome, including designing process flows and helping define test scripts
  • Experience in process reengineering methodologies
  • 3+ years of CRM experience and proven understanding of a full software development lifecycle
  • 3+ years of hands-on consulting experience with packaged applications, preferably Salesforce, implementing full project lifecycles. Other areas of experience may include Microsoft, Siebel, SAP, or similar enterprise-level applications.
  • Specific qualifications:
    • Experience designing and implementing Salesforce solutions
    • Ability to effectively design a scalable solution to meet client business needs, and participate in system configuration when necessary
    • Project management - Demonstrated analytical skills and experience with the complete lifecycle of complex enterprise projects; understanding of core project management concepts, theories, practices, and methods
    • Change management and scope control - Experience performing impact analysis for potential changes in scope; ability to administer change management processes within a specified framework, including regularly reviewing issues management and change control logs to understand status and identify potential risk situations
