CNC Operator

Parallel Employment has teamed up with a manufacturing companies in Fairview and Erie, PA looking for CNC Operators. They are looking for Experienced CNC but are willing to train those looking to get into the skilled field with good work history. This is a GREAT OPPORTUNITY!

Shifts: All shifts Available 1st,2nd amp; 3rd $13-$18 per hour based off of experience

Physical Requirements

• Regularly stand and use hands to handle objects, tools or controls.
• Pushing and pulling is also required to maneuver heavy items into place.
• Lifting requirement regularly lift and or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift or move 50 pounds

Responsibilities:

• Produces Machined parts by operating Conventional, Special Purpose and Numerical Control (NC/CNC) Machines and Machining Centers.
• Read Basic Blueprints.
• Load machine as required in accordance with shop orders.
• Actively observe machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunctions.
• Report workpiece defects or machine malfunctions to appropriate personnel to resolve issues.
• Follow and understand all work instructions, inspection requirements and verbal/written instruction.
• Conduct in-process inspections and measure work piece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation using shop floor inspection tools (mics, calipers, depth mics, gage pins, etc.)
• Must satisfy Quality Assurance specifications and complete Quality Assurance logs.
• Remove burrs, and sharp edges from workpiece per work instructions.
• Understand and complete At Machine Documentation.
• Efficiently load and unload parts in machine fixtures.

Requirements

Education and or Experience Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be able to read and write in English.
