Job Description
Plum Creek Recovery Ranch is a behavioral health facility serving the Central Texas region on a beautiful 200 acre ranch in Lockhart, Texas. The LVN will work directly under the supervision of the DON and in conjunction with the mental health care team. This is an exciting opportunity to help our facility begin our Detox program in-house as we grow our patient population.
The LVN is responsible for delivering quality nursing care to patients who are in treatment for substance use disorders; to support the program philosophy of care; to ensure the safety and well-being of each patient. The LVN will provide professional nursing care to patients according to facility policy and procedure; implement nursing care procedures, evaluate patient progress and modify care plans as necessary; will provide teaching to patients.
This is a FULL TIME position with three 12 hour shifts per week. *Competitive Pay* PLUS shift differentials for the night shift. Excellent benefits, including generous paid time off.

Requirements
- Licensure: Licensed to practice vocational/practical nursing from the State Board of Nursing.
- Must be 21 years old or older
- Education - Graduate from an accredited professional vocational school of nursing.
- Experience Minimum one (1) year as a LPN/LVN/LPT in psychiatric nursing preferred, with six (6) months experience in the specialized area of substance use disorders also preferred but not required.
- Additional Requirements: Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications. Must obtain and maintain approved CPR certification.
- Prior experience in a mental healthcare/recovery setting is a strongly desired.
