The Digital Marketing Coordinator position is geared for a new graduate looking to make the leap in their professional career; you will learn from peers, grow your own skillset, and have a large impact on the marketing team’s success. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of design principles looking to jumpstart their career in marketing and gain hands-on experience at a growing company in a stable yet evolving industry.

The Position:

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the creation of visual designs for various types of media content creation (print, digital, social etc.) along with supporting various projects for the marketing team. This position will execute and organize daily administrative tasks, including providing support for trade shows, delivering exceptional customer support, and collaborating with internal teams to achieve desired marketing deliverables. This position reports to the Marketing Communications Manager.

Essential Functions:

  • Utilize brand guidelines to help design materials for branch events, company promotions, customer events, tradeshows, open-houses, and co-branded manufacturer campaigns, including print, digital, and social media needs
  • Assist with designing templates including email, direct mail (post-cards / flyers), and targeted campaigns
  • Assist in event preparation including tradeshows, customer trips, employee conferences
  • Provide general administrative support for marketing campaigns and ad hoc projects as needed
  • Update company websites and social networking sites under the guidance of the Marketing Communications Manager
  • Performs all other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of design and marketing experience including utilization of: Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro)
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Interest in water and/or sustainability industry a plus!

  • Design - Ability to bring a concept to life by creating a strong visual message with a targeted purpose.
  • Communication ability to influence others internally and externally using verbal, print and electronic formats.
  • Interpersonal eager to build connections and expand horizons with customers and internal departments, while working cross functionally with all departments.
  • Organization strong planning skills with ability to creatively streamline projects.
  • Versatility flexibility, and a willingness to work in fast-paced environment with ability to create, implement, and execute tasks.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Art, Marketing or related field required preferred
  • Proficiency in Adobe creative programs required

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to remain at a stationary position 50% of the time
  • Ability to occasionally move product weighing up to 50 pounds, including lifting, placing, pushing, and pulling

Work Environment:

  • Must have the ability to work on site in Wilsonville, OR

Travel Required:

  • Ability to travel 5% of the time to join in corporate and customer events and or tradeshows
