Job Title: Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW/LISW-S)
Our mental health clinic is currently seeking a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW/LISW-S) to join our team. The ideal candidate is a compassionate and dedicated professional with experience providing therapy and counseling to individuals, families, and groups. In this role, you will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide solution-based interventions to clients of all ages.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments of the client's mental health and psychosocial needs to develop a personalized treatment plan.
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy to clients using evidence-based interventions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of client care and progress.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, community organizations, and social services to ensure clients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in times of need.
- Participate in team meetings and continuing education to stay informed of emerging trends and best practices in mental health treatment.
- Maintain ethical and professional standards in accordance with state regulations and guidelines.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Master's degree in social work or related field.
- LISW/LISW-S licensure in the state of practice.
- Minimum of two years of experience providing therapy and counseling to individuals, families, and groups.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices and interventions for a range of mental health disorders.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
